A room full of antiques, and nowhere else to put them
It all began when Rene's mother sold her Winter Park bed-and-breakfast, and the family suddenly needed to find a new home for 30 years worth of beautiful antiques. From there, the annex has grown. It's just one more thing that makes this lounge unique — a real family collection, right next door to the bar.
Today the shop is stocked by three local curators, including antique dealer Lori Marek, with heirloom furniture, vintage decor, and one-of-a-kind treasures — brass Moroccan teapots, painted trays, hand-carved cabinets, birdcages, and pieces that turn over as often as the curators bring in something new.
It's the kind of detail a big-brand cocktail bar could never fake: a real family collection, in a real room, in a building Rene and her mother brought back to life together.
